Crystal Climer

As Chief Accounting Officer for Premier, Crystal Climer is responsible for the company’s corporate finance and accounting functions, including internal and external reporting, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, and internal audit. Beyond her focus on finance functions, Climer serves as a strategic contributor to the company’s continued transformation and future growth plans and helps drive Premier’s overall financial strategy and initiatives.

Climer, who has more than 20 years of accounting and finance leadership experience, joined Premier in 2016. She has held several roles within Premier’s Corporate Financial Services division with increasing responsibilities and oversight. As part of Premier’ Executive Team, Climer plays a key role in collaborating with business leaders to drive greater business partnership and process improvements in the accounting and finance functions with the goal of seamless integration of financial services as part of our overall corporate strategy.

Climer is a seasoned accounting professional with a proven ability of delivering results. She previously served as the Vice President, Corporate Controller for Premier, where she oversaw the company’s accounting and reporting functions and was instrumental in streamlining workflow operations and implementing complex accounting policies and financial processes.

Prior to joining Premier, Climer served as the Director of Finance and Accounting for North America at BSN Medical. She has worked in a variety of closely held, private equity owned and publicly traded organizations in finance and accounting leadership roles in industries, such as healthcare, manufacturing and distribution. In addition to corporate accounting and finance, her areas of focus have included system implementations, team building, process improvement, and mergers and acquisitions.

Climer received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and MBA from Pfeiffer University. In addition, she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in North Carolina, Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
