A longtime leader in healthcare improvement, we’re developing new ways to revolutionize the industry.
Premier and our employees are committed to Giving Goodwill.
Premier's mission is simple and honest – to improve the health of communities. Our Giving Goodwill Initiative reflects our commitment to embracing our social responsibility in everything we do: promoting a diverse and inclusive workforce, cultivating a culture of giving back through employee volunteerism, and investing in and partnering with nonprofits dedicated to improving community health. Premier provides our employees paid time off each quarter to give back to their local communities.
The program’s framework offers employees a variety of opportunities that encourage teams to volunteer together, donate to those in need and make a real difference in the communities they live in. From the Salvation Army Angel Tree program to Classroom Central’s annual back-to-school supply drive, Premier employees are always looking for the next way to give back.
Since 1991, Premier has recognized the exemplary efforts of community organizations dedicated to helping the medically underserved with the Monroe E. Trout Premier Cares Award and a $100,000 gift from Premier to support their program and their community’s health. To date, the program has provided over $3 million to more than 100 organizations nationwide.
Sustainability is at the heart of our mission, culture and business practices. We’re fully committed to further embedding ESG practices into all aspects of our organization to secure a more sustainable future and drive positive change in our business, our communities and our world. Read about our actions, results and lessons learned in our annual Sustainability Report.
We are passionate about supporting the communities where we work and live. Our Giving Goodwill Initiative puts the power to effect meaningful change in the hands of our employees—and helps them make a lasting impact through financial giving, volunteer efforts and corporate-sponsored charitable events. "Every day we serve each other as colleagues to get our work done which translates to serving our communities by improving health. We serve the world we live in by continuing to identify ecological alternatives and solutions to how we operate. And, as a bonus, sometimes we even get to serve our community and/or the world through Premier organized events."
"I have great appreciation for the role Premier plays in healthcare. We not only lead through innovation, but we inspire health systems to collaborate toward the single goal of improving the health of our communities. I sincerely appreciate Premier and its values."
“Every member of the Premier team contributes to the vision of leading the transformation to high-quality and cost-effective healthcare. Knowing that I’m able to contribute my efforts and talent to work that ultimately improves the health of our communities consistently reinforces my determination to help our teams succeed and perform at our highest potential.”
