Premier Joins 450 Organizations Advocating for Long-term Telehealth Fix
Premier joined hundreds of organizations in sending a joint letter to Congressional leadership urging them to pass a long-term solution to the pandemic-era telehealth flexibilities that ended Oct. 1. The letter notes that a series of temporary fixes have threatened continuity of care for patients, with the current lapse abruptly ending access for millions of Medicare beneficiaries. The signatories ask Congress to work with CMS to both reinstate the telehealth flexibilities and ensure retroactive payment for providers that have maintained access to these services for patients during the lapse.
