Statement on CY 2024 Hospital Outpatient and Physician Fee Schedule Proposed Rules

A universal truth in our country is that rising healthcare costs coupled with labor shortages and an aging population demands innovation to provide continued access to high-quality healthcare for all Americans. However, CMS’ proposed payment policies threaten the sustainability of our healthcare system by failing to adequately reimburse providers for the cost of providing care, increasing unnecessary regulatory burden, creating obstacles for the movement towards value-based care, and furthering the divide between providers and payers.
