Premier Names Trailblazer Life Sciences Award Recipient

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — (October 6, 2026) — Premier, Inc., a leading technology-driven healthcare improvement company, has named Johnson & Johnson as the recipient of the 2026 Premier Trailblazer Life Sciences Award.

The Premier Trailblazer Life Sciences Award recognizes healthcare organizations that demonstrate a commitment to advancing clinical practice through innovation, collaboration and the responsible use of data and evidence to address complex medical challenges and improve patient care.

Johnson & Johnson develops surgical technologies and solutions used by healthcare professionals around the world. The company has helped advance the use of regulatory-grade real-world evidence (RWE) to answer important clinical questions and support evidence-based decision-making.

“We are proud to recognize Johnson & Johnson with the Premier Trailblazer Life Sciences Award,” said Denise Juliano, Group Vice President of Life Sciences of Premier. “They exemplify what’s possible when methodologically rigorous real-world evidence is used to address important clinical questions and support evidence-based care.”

Company representatives formally accepted the award in front of healthcare leaders from across the country Oct. 6 on the main stage during Breakthroughs 26, Premier’s annual conference and exhibition. The event is being hosted at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.
