Patient safety is the foundation of high-quality care. Premier’s PSO provides a secure, non-punitive environment for members to share safety data, analyze events and accelerate learning across organizations — strengthening systems and preventing harm before it occurs.
To improve patient safety and the quality of healthcare delivery through shared learning, data-driven insights and continuous improvement.
Premier’s PSO supports participating organizations by:
- Providing a secure environment for data collection as well as analyses of patient safety work products.
- Sharing learnings from safety events.
- Providing specific patient safety resources and education.
Certified and Trusted
Premier’s PSO is certified by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), providing a secure environment for hospitals, health systems and providers to report safety events, receive assistance with data analysis, educational resources and share best practices.
