Jonathan Slotkin

Dr. Slotkin is chief medical officer of Contigo Health, a Premier, Inc. ($PINC) company. In this role, he leads the clinical strategy, innovation, and operations of Contigo – partnering with some of the nation’s largest employers and health systems. Slotkin has developed key strategies and solutions to drive digital provider and patient engagement, including the use of mobile device technology. He serves on the board of directors of PeerWell, and is chair of the National Advisory Committee for TigerConnect. He has a particular interest in consumerism in healthcare, and digital methods for both the measurement of clinical patient outcomes and the improvement of patient experience. He has active translational research in the area of materials engineering, and co-led the development of two novel biomaterials that are the subject of ongoing first-in-human clinical trials. Dr. Slotkin is also associate chief medical informatics officer at Geisinger Health System, where he serves as clinical professor and vice chair of the Department of Neurosurgery. Slotkin completed residency training and was chief resident of neurological surgery at The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
