Statement on Bipartisan House Letter to HHS Supporting Movement to Value-based Care

Thank you to the 41 bipartisan House members calling on Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Becerra to take additional steps to support the movement to value-based care. Premier joins with these lawmakers in urging the Administration to make changes already within its power to enhance existing alternative payment models. These reforms are also incorporated in the Value in Health Care Act of 2021 (H.R. 4587). Reforms that improve and align incentives will boost participation by providers and result in better quality and cost outcomes for patients and the Medicare program.
