Lisa Benna

Lisa Benna is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Premier and is responsible for further enhancing Premier’s people strategy, driving Premier’s competitive advantage and external reputation by attracting, developing, rewarding and retaining the best talent.

A well-established Human Resources professional, Benna brings more than 30 years of experience and a broad range of expertise in talent management, organizational and leadership development, culture change, total reward strategies, inclusion and diversity, and workforce planning.

Prior to joining Premier, Benna was the People Strategy Officer at G1 Therapeutics responsible for their human resources strategy. Prior to that, Benna held senior HR leadership roles at GlaxoSmithKline, leading the company’s strategy in the company’s commercial, research and development, consumer healthcare and global manufacturing and supply chain business segments.

Benna is passionate about supporting the community and served on several community boards including Communities in Schools, NC (CISNC), GSK Foundation and the Southport / Oak Island Chamber of Commerce.

Benna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of Albany, State University of NY. She is a recipient of the prestigious Healthcare Businesswoman’s Association (HBA) Luminary award in 2018 and a certified coach by the International Coaching Federation.
